    I have been let down so many times before. I’m not willing to get my hopes up. They’re really trying to get up, but I’m fighting them down.

    At least, if/when something does happen, I can be pleasantly surprised instead of infuriatingly shocked.

      I’m trying to keep my spirits up, as well. At this time we could all use a bit of hope after all the damage that has been inflicted.
