A victory in the Southern state, said one organizer, "would show workers across all different industries that they can stand up together and fight for more."

    I’m 100% pro union…

Are there any (lol) good faith reasons to not vote yes?

No really. I can’t think of any; and I was looking to ? Steel man the argument…

I’m assuming that all the ones that I’ve seen from the business side are not in good faith — well that and they are laughable…

I think if you want to Steel-Man an anti-union argument, then two routes you could take would be to look at police unions and the history of organized crime’s involvement in unions. Both are interesting case studies for how the purpose of unions can be corrupted, and worth examining for how to make sure a union does its job right.

A place to discuss positive changes that can make work more equitable, and to vent about current practices. We are NOT against work; we just want the fruits of our labor to be recognized better.

Our Philosophies:

  • All workers must be paid a living wage for their labor.
  • Income inequality is the main cause of lower living standards.
  • Workers must join together and fight back for what is rightfully theirs.
  • We must not be divided and conquered. Workers gain the most when they focus on unifying issues.

Our Goals

  • Higher wages for underpaid workers.
  • Better worker representation, including but not limited to unions.
  • Better and fewer working hours.
  • Stimulating a massive wave of worker organizing in the United States and beyond.
  • Organizing and supporting political causes and campaigns that put workers first.
