• deleted imgur images/gifs/videos posted to reddit: add “.json” to the post URL and look for the fallback image/gif/video. Transcoding, AI interpolating, and AI upscaling porn:

• ffmpeg for transcoding. Can use handbrake for GUI
• Waifu2xGUI for AI interpolating (use for very low FPS videos/gifs or if you wanna boost 30 fps gifs to 60) and AI upscaling of both pictures and gifs/videos. Some videos are more amenable to upscaling than others. Your mileage may vary.
• EZ Gif can convert between many formats.

Hosting porn:

• Host on lemmynsfw: per @yay, the max file size is 20mb and maximum resolution is 8000x8000. For video, I recommend webm with VP8 or VP9 codec. MP4s and animated webps do not consistently work for all users, especially on iOS.
• pixelfed.social storage now unlimited per user; however limited to 15mb per post. Supports .jpg, .gif, .png, and .mp4 files.
• imgbb.com for images
• redgifs.com for videos. You can also host images here but redgifs tends to resize them. Maximum resolution is 1920x1080 for horizontal videos and 1080x2048 for vertical videos. All videos get re-encoded see this reddit post.
• bdsmlr.com for gifs. Currently no hotlinking allowed. You can post images and gifs here to host them, then hotlink them. Image (GIF, webp, jpg) limit is 11mb. Video limit is 80mb, must use mp4 or mkv with h264/x264 codec any codec seems to work; must be mp4.
• https://imgbox.com host JPG, GIF, and PNG up to 10mb each.
