I just wish the writing for most of his run wasn’t such ass. I loved the direction he took the character, but you can only do so much with shitty scripts. Honestly I was getting fed up with it during Smith’s run.

For me, it’s a tie between him and Tennant. They were both incredible.

I wanted to like Whitaker, but Chibnall would not let me.

I’ve recently come back to Who, having left during Capaldi’s tenure. Ncuti is amazing. Has this almost sassy, fun exterior but you can see something darker lying beneath. Makes me want to go back and watch what I missed in spite of the poor writing.

Yes, he’s quite good. I think we’re all settling into the new format, but I really do like him. And having RTD back is great, too!

Yep. I didn’t initially like him when he came on and I stopped watching round then. I started watching the reboot show again a few years ago and he’s my favourite now.

Why is Queen Victoria hanging out with Doctor Who?

Actually, he did. She started U.N.I.T. Torchwood after meeting him. They fought a giant bee. Or wasp. Or something. (Edit: she was a werewolf)

He’s also married to Queen Elizabeth I.

Victoria was werewolf, with David Tennant and Rose. The wasp was with Agatha Christie and Donna

Ah yes, the episode where the Scottish actor David Tennant played a British speaking alien pretending to be a Scotsman. Must have been fun for Tennant to not change his natural voice for a bit.
