Does anyone else remember when hentai had normal tits? I’m not knocking it because I know huge boobs exist, but what happened to normal run of the mill sized boobs or even small tits?
It’s like you either have to go huge or it’s fuckin loli. Like c’mon. I’m just trying to see some normal proportions on an adult hentai character.

yeah i’m with you. i get that people are into it but when i see hentai with the ridiculous exaggerated proportions it’s like “oh. this again. what a surprise.” i also feel like when its art of a specific character and they give them wayyyy huge maniac tits or like a completely different body type i’m like…why??? what do you like about this character if youre just gonna draw a completely different persons body and just paste their face on it?? it confuses me and i probably think about this shit way too much haha
I mean no hate on anyone for having a fetish but I agree. Tbh, one of the reasons I like hentai is not for the anime/art style aspect (I don’t even watch anime and it’s a struggle trying to keep up with context with these characters, lol). It’s just because it’s drawn and there’s no possible exploitation. I still do watch porn but I try and stay away from studios as much as possible.
Anyway that’s relevant because for me I want it to have at least some form of connection to reality in it, a lot of hentai doesn’t (why impossibly huge futa dicks don’t get me off much either lol).
I don’t think there’s much of a shift though tbh. Hentai has always been really “out there” and exaggerated since the beginning. You just have to look for good stuff and be discerning. And as you say it is annoying that small tit hentai is almost exclusively loli or at least questionable.
I hear you. I like that hentai is out there but at the same time there’s just stuff that just doesn’t do it for me. Again I’m not knockin anyone’s taste because I believe myself to be in the minority regarding the proportions since supply and demand. I just wanted to kind of get a feel of what others thought.
I was always curious if there were people with the same sentiment that maybe are cool with both but preferred something more in line with what I’m saying, but since it wasn’t that big of a deal never bothered to say anything.
You’re probably just not looking at the right artists. There’s more than enough great artists drawing normal sized boobs instead of drawing elephants-sized ones.
Mignon and Kimoshi are great for instance. I post alot of their artwork on this comm and [email protected]. Their artwork are beautiful and down to earth, which I like.

I remember there was/is a reddit that had more realistically sized anime tiddies and I often enjoyed it. maybe there’s one floating around on a Lemmy instance somewhere :)
As a fan of big melons, that’s one of the things I like about newer hentai. For some reason it’s like the average size exponentially grew over the years, stuff from like 1992 that’s tagged as “big boobs” seems kinda small or mid to me, really. Too bad newer hentai tends to be kinda boring in terms of writing.
To each their own. Yeah I prefer that older style proportions. I agree with the writing though. I kind of miss the stuff that was a little more anime esque plots. Not sure if that’s what you mean, but shit like La Blue Girl will always have a spot in my weird heart. Probably nostalgia mostly because I’m sure it hasn’t aged well at all.
I don’t know that one, but older hentai is indeed full of the kinda bizarre plots that anime (and especially hentai) is usually stereotyped as having, while nowadays that stereotype seems further and further from the truth.
I’m actually planning on making doujin myself one day and learning from the plots of older doujin and h-anime.
