Anything under 1MB seems to work fine, anything over gives an error

    Use another image hosting service like lensdump, catbox, redgifs, etc. Also helps keep the costs of the server down.

      catbox seems to be the best one so far, since it is free and the urls seems to be rendered as a image from lemmy as welle.

    Try to use CatBox.Moe, saves on server costs, embeds correctly, and has api’s for just about every language !

      I do use it sometimes. Downside with catbox is that I don’t see previews for gifs/mp4s.

        i didnt realize thats was an issue with it honestly. still beats the ads that site gives on each click, do you have adblock on ? without it using that site is like early 2000’s porn sites

    Hi All, sorry to resurrect this post but we’ve increased the upload size. You shouldn’t really notice much of an issue now except maybe for videos and images that are a huge resolution.

    Max resolution for images is 4096x4096 and max size for any upload is 20mb. We may adjust these moving forward.
