Much like veterans, Republicans tell farmers how much they love them just before fucking them over. And it works every time.
Everyone wants to picture a farmer in America as a po-dunk lil mom and pop organization when these things are megacorporations that sit on stupid amounts of land and wealth.
People should consider “helping the farmers” as bad as “helping business”.
Given inflation, wouldn’t ine expect every farm bill to be “the most expensive ever”
That 2024 Farm Bill was chok-full of republican horseshit that negatively impacted farmers and also everyone else anyway. I really hope that bill is dead for good.
