just been hanging around here ever since the announcement and haven’t seen any new posts so Imma just make this post real quick and see if anything happens

edit: the subreddit came back over at reddit, I was just messing around with bdfr and then started seeing a folder from the subreddit and went to check and turns out they’re back :D

It seems like the migration really didn’t take.

My perception is that the traffic to the subreddit just migrated to the girlscontrolled subreddit instead.

True, I even stayed there because there is more activity there. I did kept this account here because why not.

I was wondering if there was a more active duplicate lemmy community I didn’t know about. Guess not.

Lemmy is still completely unusable shit and the Reddit moderator who created this killed any community there ever was.

for the Lemmy part, I agree and don’t agree at the same time because a side from people getting locked out from their accounts for the 2fa option that for a new or noobie user will get locked out not realizing that they need to copy the link from the 2fa to be able to add it on the authenticator app in order to use that feature, but other than that is pretty usable. Don’t get much the why with having to use different accounts on different servers but is not much a problem with me with the password manager but for someone who doesn’t use one is probably not gonna use this metaverse/fediverse for the issue of forgetting the password or username for that specific server (while totally not gonna have impersonators or anything like that). But other than that is pretty interesting this site and the mastodon community.

And for the reddit moderator part, u right

on iOS it’s a constantly struggle of getting signed out at random. Hitting “back” or reload on the browser breaks the logged in session 90% of the time.
