This is a case of “broken clock is right twice a day”. I don’t love Shapiro for VP and would prefer Tim Walz. He has much less baggage and is a better choice overall for “filling in” Harris’s weakest demographics.

That said, Fetterman’s opinion is about as useful as tits on a boar 99% of the time, so cool story bro.

Fetterman’s advisers suggested to Harris’ team that the senator believes that Shapiro is excessively focused on his own personal ambitions. His reservations about Shapiro reflect a long-running rivalry between the two ambitious Democrats, who have risen on parallel tracks in a politically crucial state.

I don’t know if Fetterman is right to have concerns about Shapiro for VP, but I do believe he feels that way, personally. Like this isn’t Fetterman saying he’s concerned Shapiro doesn’t have enough foreign policy experience or whatever, it’s Fetterman saying he thinks Shapiro is kind of a dick.

That tumor in Fetterman’s neck can pop for all I care. Like Biden who he clearly idolizes, his biggest selling point was “not the other guy,” but it should be clear to everyone by this point that he’s drunk off that AIPAC money.

Isn’t that the guy that turned “conservative” after suffering a stroke?

I doubt anybody is going to listen to confused John Fetterman, who thought Biden ought to stay in the race. Great political instincts and judgment. He’s probably doing 30 over the limit as we speak.
