Cladistically dolphins are a type of toothed whale. They’re more closely related to species like sperm whales than toothed whales and baleen whales are to each other.

Cetaceans technically, dolphins being the most well-known cetacean. I was hasty, they are actually in the dolphin family, Delphinidae. Neat.

Actually, the last documented orca attack in the wild was in the 1800s. The orca bit the human once and spit the guy out. Didn’t even sever the arm that got bitten. Orcas as a species will eat anything in the water, including the occasional polar bear, except us. Individual Orcas have very narrow diets depending on the pod. Their eating habits are fascinating if you look into them.

Now if the orca was put into a fishbowl, and forced to do tricks while in solitary confinement? Well PTSD is a motherfucker.

sure but if i’m in the position where the silver lining is “that whale can’t actually swallow you” i feel like i’m already done for.
if nothing else i can’t imagine that being in the mouth of a whale would be good for my micromort intake

🤔 What does a lobster diver taste like?

Like it must be crunchy due to the equipment and bones. And then the bubbles from the equipment must be a unique experience. And since they eat a lot of lobster they must be quite tasty.

But then you do pay later with indigestion due to the suit.

I heard a story a while back about A SCUBA diver that was sort of swallowed by a whale. He was allegedly all the way in, then the whale spat him out and he was only bruised. It appeared to be an accident. But if I remember correctly, the credibility of the story was in question.

Sooooo… not sure why I answered. Well I’m this far now…
