Was curious to see if I was affected.
Turns out I have it installed via F Droid so a non issue for me.
Just a reminder that there are alternative app stores for some things.
Not a perfect solution for all, but well worth looking into if you want so start sourcing things outside of Google’s monopoly store.
I don’t believe removing it from the store means it’s deleted on every device.
Correct, but it does mean you can’t install it on a new device.
