I’ve seen some issues where GIFs are sometimes not unloaded properly which can cause memory issues and degraded performance. Ironically GIFs are much heavier to work with than regular videos…
I’m working on improving how the app handles large amounts of GIFs simultaneously, so it’ll get better over time!
I’ve noticed this too. iPhone went very hot and started throttling.
