you can share if you want to but you dont have to.
anyways i suprisly havent played any nsfw game sin quite some time, i guess its a form of entertainment for me that adds more to a story like spice, if that makes sense but its a good way to play games i guess.
Kinda found the nsfw world during the pandemic looking for something to do. Came across Artemis right when the second chapter dropped and was hooked. I am more of a fan of games that tell a good story first. If I can connect to the characters that is what I am looking for.
helo and welcome to this small community i hope you enjoy your stay, also i can kinda relate to what you said.
I played a lot of lewd flash games on 4chan like ZONE’s Hentaikey flashes or things like Frank’s Adventure or Jungle Girl on Newgrounds. It’s just kinda stuck with me since, whether in the form of fan-translated Japanese visual novels or original western adult games. Kinda wild to me that you can get them on Steam now, though some games have some trouble with that.
yeah, its weird how those types of games are on big platforms now.
I think it’s weird in a good way though, for the most part, to be clear. 👍
If Steam and GOG can flex their size as gaming giants and normalize selling and playomg NSFW games, then there’s way less friction involved getting into it and enjoying it. Making it possible to sell an adult game as an adult game instead of a SFW game with half its content cut out also makes it easier for people to filter it out if they don’t want to see it. It’s true though that they don’t welcome all adult games and have inconsistent rules around them, but it’s a solid step forward regardless for sure.
saw f95 open on a friend’s PC and my curious mind couldn’t ignore it. Kinda crazy to think that it has 6 million plus members
My first experience with NSFW gaming was the original Leisure Suit Larry. When I was 10ish my friend showed it to me on her dads computer and I thought it was disgustingly funny! I like to think it helped me become more appreciative of raunchy humor and NSFW video games.
They provide small dopamine rushes every time you unlock new scenes or reach a certain milestone with characters. Plus there are some games that are legitimately fun mechanically, and it almost feels like the NSFW part was tacked on as an afterthought.
huniepop is simply too based for any sane person to ignore
well i cant argue with that, also dont forget crush crush its also a thing.
i read that as candy crush and thought it had a secret nsfw niche or smth
crush crush is ok but its also an idle clicker with microtransactions, beat it with cheat engine and i have zero regrets
