      In fact, their Bible explicitly condones abortion. Priests would administer abortions in the form of “bitter water” to women who were accused of adultery.

      Their god doesn’t give a shit about babies, but apparently cares a lot more about keeping women in line. Almost like the whole thing was written by a bunch of men in power who wanted to keep their power. Hmm…

    Shocking, that an immigrant of color would be treated this way in Texas.

    I wonder if white girls are subjected to the same standard of care, or if doctors are statistically more likely to feel comfortable about the possibility of having to defend their decision. Maybe it’s the same across the board, but I’d be a little surprised.

    This shit is why my wife elected to get a hysterectomy when she started having other issues down there. She simply doesn’t want the chance to get pregnant in this state.
