An angle I read on this, is most likely the ones who are citizens (and allowed to vote) were affluent enough to emigrate legitimately and don’t want illegal poor people coming over. Latinos in Americas tend to be more conservative/ perhaps religious? I am told.
The biggest takeaway from the election so far for me (the votes are still being counted), it doesn’t look like trump got any new votes, he lost something like 1-2 mil from last time but the main issue is that Harris lost 15mil voters.

That suggests he gives a shit about what happens to his voters. I think it’s been clear for a long time now that he doesn’t.
So after having a Democrat president that opened the borders, the only area to vote Democrat was the only area that has a well-staffed Border Patrol presence (El Paso / Ciudad Juarez) easily explains this. I don’t understand how people are quick to embrace crazy racist narratives instead of the simple one, other than those pushing that story are the racists or seek to divide Americans.
