I can only imagine his frustration after watching the run the Chiefs have been on since he left. He missed out on a chance to be part of a dynasty. (Though I am proud to say I predicted the doomsaying over his departure was unfounded, and that Veach would use those draft picks well.)
I’m sure they’d welcome him back at a discount, though. He’ll probably have to take a pay cut after opting to start off-season drama following a season where his play was largely underwhelming.
