Does imgur allow NSFW again?
Not really. It seems that Boost app for LemmyNSFW is still able to use imgur for hosting vids when you direct upload clips during posting (same as back when using Boost for Reddit). Not sure when imgur gets around to checking and deleting them 😉 It’s just a convenient backdoor if you get lazy with not wanting to create redgifs… (and don’t care about permanence of clips or posts)
But it’s been over 24 hours and your gif still hasn’t been deleted o.O Same for some other posts too.
The reason I commented was because when I clicked I got a “confirm you’re 18+” prompt, which was new. I’ve seen similar behavior for other posts and it’s got me wondering if there has been a ToS change.
Interesting. Tbh, I haven’t logged into or followed happenings with imgur for over a year…
Same. There’s been about 3 new users attempting to use imgur for uploads though and the posts are insta-deleted like usual. Maybe you just have the magic touch 🤷
