It’s not that hard to understand why he has a large audience. The amount of push back from people complaining about him “platforming” people they disagree with further adds to the appeal. People want free expression and exchange of ideas, not censorial hall monitors with holier-than-thou attitudes who think they know better than you.
My problem is he uncritically accepts bullshit gecause he has no idea. When he was ypunger he was more willing to change.

I know it’s fashionable to hate on Apple (justified or not), but Apple Music is very good. As a bonus, you can bundle it with Apple TV+, which have so many extremely good shows and movies.
I’m quite happy with Tidal. Been using it for 6-7 months now.
I’ve tried a few of them, all with family plans:

Amazon Music: good track selection, awful apps. Horrid integration with Sonos.

YouTube Music: I was using this for quite a while, my kids hated it because of the way the miniplayer worked. I found it frustrating because it would often play a YouTube rip of a song instead of the album track.

Tidal: great choice, but I couldn’t get it to use gapless playback when casting to my receiver.

Apple Music: we’re currently all using this one. Everyone is happy (Android, Chromecast, Sonos, iPhones, iPads, Car Play, and Android Auto). Finally.
