There is little we as individuals can do. Spreading awareness and speaking up is one thing.
Conveniently leaves out that the powerful financial interest that helped create fascism in the first place were wealthy US individuals. We created the problem and then helped solve it by killing countless civilians. That makes us the good guys.
As an American I made special ublock rules for the sites that I visit that block all “Trump” or “Elon” stuff. I did not vote for this shit and I cannot handle it in my face for the next four years. If it gets bad enough I will go into my closet and get my guns and at that point this country will truly be fucked but until then I just want to live my life without those cunts invading my daily life.
Please can there be one tiny corner of the internet not posting about politics. Looking at the greater Lemme/Reddit spaces there is no shortage of political commentary.

See porn bans in the US, sometimes masquerading as adult ID laws. See laws forcing sex work underground, which enable abuse.

This comment pretty much covers why I posted this. If you live in a group of people there will always be politics. I work with Egyptians, Russians, Italians, Germans and so on. I want to do something to fight fascism, even if it is only posting on the internet. People have to get more political again.

Up until now it hasn’t been an issue on this server. But if this keeps up thats probably a good idea to enable. Not sure if Voyager has them though
