Yeah, seems like the link implementation on most/all mobile apps, and some web interfaces, is still a WIP. lemmy.world shows it in-line which is nice. Boost for Lemmy should be available for Android in the coming weeks. I’ve tried uploading GIFs directly and it never seems to work.
