If that is the Bang and Olufsen original, and not a cheap clone, it was extremely expensive, back when it came out.

I know very little about Bang and Olufsen, but their names are emblasened on my work laptop. Are they considered very good?
Back in the day they were super expensive but I can not comment on their product quality. Or audio quality. They were basically an electronics designer brand. Everything they made looked as expensive as it really was.
