I’ll never understand a system where people can pass laws for minimum wage, when they make way way way more than that. If they think that 15 dollars is too much per hour, they should only make 7 dollars and it’s fine. I know it’s utopian, but that things like that should just happen. Republicans don’t care about voting history, they care about the R next to a candidate on the ballot. You could tell them that their Rep voted aginast securing them a better life, and they’d tell you “Sounds like commie talk, MAGA!!” And if you show a canidate who would give them a better life, they’d just say something about wokeism or whatever, and then claim they know what’s best for America.
Democrats won’t care about a Republican’s voting history, because they’re not going to vote for a Republican.
