Impeachment doesn’t require a congressional vote either then
Just a pull of an index finger.
I thought this was how he was elected.
He’s been impeached it didn’t do squat
He didn’t, it was attempted but never got passed
Edit: I mean he was impeached twice but he got acquitted, I’m not even sure how that is legal cause it shouldn’t.
Impeach is the term for the trial thingy not getting removed.
Republicans blocked any evidence from being presented in the trial, and the Democrats took it lying down which is why he was aquitted.
Underlying that is also they’re scared shitless of his violent cult followers
3 times is the charm… 4 times is also the charm… so is 5 times. Keep impeaching him.
In each case, he was acquitted on all counts by the Senate. Gotta make it stick.
Oh I thought he got fully convicted but just dabbed, screeched yeet and became president
One impeachment came just as he left the presidency so it switched to a “can you impeach an ex-president?” debate.
Iirc you need like 3/4 vote to remove from office
Only two thirds of the senate

And to start the impeachment trial you just need a normal majority in the House
That seems far more attainable
