    1.9 Million People live in the Gaza Strip, that’s 7 digits. Large numbers of them were displaced but still remain in Gaza, somewhere from 5 to 6 digits dead or injured, that leaves 7 digits still in Gaza. The Israelis and Trump’s Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth are talking about pushing all of them permanently out of the region, future tense.

    The Rwandan Genocide happened, the Gaza Genocide is currently happening. It did not occur under Biden, would not have occurred under Harris.

      It's been a genocide for over a year

      Our first-hand observations of the medical and humanitarian catastrophe inflicted on Gaza are consistent with the descriptions provided by an increasing number of legal experts and organizations concluding that genocide is taking place in Gaza.

      It examines the killing of civilians, damage to and destruction of civilian infrastructure, forcible displacement, the obstruction or denial of life-saving goods and humanitarian aid, and the restriction of power supplies. It analyses Israel’s intent through this pattern of conduct and statements by Israeli decision-makers. It concludes that Israel has committed genocide against Palestinians in Gaza.

      On 26 January 2024, the ICJ said that it was plausible that Israel had breached the Genocide Convention. As an emergency measure, it ordered Israel ensure that its army refrained from genocidal acts against Palestinians.

      The ICJ reported, as part of its decisions in March and May, that the situation in Gaza had deteriorated and that Israel had failed to abide by its order in January.

      So, when we look at the actions taken, the dropping of thousands and thousands of bombs in a couple of days, including phosphorus bombs, as we heard, on one of the most densely populated areas around the world, together with these proclamations of intent, this indeed constitutes genocidal killing, which is the first act, according to the convention, of genocide. And Israel, I must say, is also perpetrating act number two and three — that is, causing serious bodily or mental harm, and creating condition designed to bring about the destruction of the group by cutting off water, food, supply of energy, bombing hospitals, ordering the fast evictions of hospitals, which the World Health Organization has declared to be, quote, “a death sentence.” So, we’re seeing the combination of genocidal acts with special intent. This is indeed a textbook case of genocide.

      More than 800 scholars of international law and genocide have signed a public statement arguing that the Israeli military may be committing genocidal acts against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip as the total siege and relentless airstrikes continue to inflict devastation on the occupied territory.

      An independent United Nations expert warned Monday that “Israel’s genocidal violence risks leaking out of Gaza and into the occupied Palestinian territory as a whole” as Western governments, corporations, and other institutions keep up their support for the Israeli military, which stands accused of grave war crimes in the Gaza Strip and West Bank.

      Our documentation encompasses over 500 incitements of violence and genocidal incitement, appearing in the forms of social media posts, television interviews, and official statements from Israeli politicians, army personnel, journalists, and other influential personalities.

      I, Lee Mordechai, a historian by profession and an Israeli citizen, bear witness in this document to the situation in Gaza as events are unfolding. The enormous amount of evidence I have seen, much of it referenced later in this document, has been enough for me to believe that Israel is committing genocide against the Palestinian population in Gaza. I explain why I chose to use the term below. Israel’s campaign is ostensibly its reaction to the Hamas massacre of Oct. 7, 2023, in which war crimes and crimes against humanity were committed within the context of the longstanding conflict between Israelis and Palestinians that can be dated back to 1917 or 1948 (or other dates). In all cases, historical grievances and atrocities do not justify additional atrocities in the present. Therefore, I consider Israel’s response to Hamas’ actions on Oct. 7 utterly disproportionate and criminal.

      Let’s not pretend that Trump’s plan to forcibly remove all Palestinians from Gaza isn’t a revival of the same plan put forth by Biden behind closed doors.

      The diplomat said Egypt rejected similar proposals from the Biden administration and European countries early in the war, which was sparked by Hamas’ Oct. 7, 2023 attack into southern Israel. The earlier proposals were broached privately, while Trump announced his plan at a White House press conference alongside Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

      The only obligation the US has, under the Leahy Law and International Law, is to cease weapons transfers to Israel for violating human rights and perpetrating crimes against humanity.

      Biden is a self proclaimed Zionist, he absolutely supported this genocide, both materially, diplomatically, and ideologically.

        It’s been an attempted Genocide since before the festival attack ever even happened, but POTUS Joe Biden tried, albeit poorly, to stop it from succeeding. Now, under the new US admin, it is all but absolutely certain to succeed.

          He didn’t, see the first link after the spoiler that has detailed accounts by human rights organizations and genocide scholars on how it has been an ongoing genocide well under Biden’s term. Optics is not action.

          The Biden administration allowed Israel unprecedented leeway to carry out its military offensive, despite the enormous death and devastation it inflicted on Gaza. Former Israeli ambassador, Michael Herzog, made a startling admission about Biden’s support: “God did the State of Israel a favour that Biden was the president during this period. We fought [in Gaza] for over a year and the administration never came to us and said, ‘ceasefire now.’ It never did. And that’s not to be taken for granted.” His remarks encapsulated a broader sentiment that the White House gave Benjamin Netanyahu all the political space he needed to execute the military offensive, which has claimed the lives of more than 52,000 Palestinians, mainly women and children.

                  Yeah, I have sources from articles, documentaries, books by historians, and more. I back up my arguments. The hasbara doesn’t change, it’s the same shitty arguments that weaponize ignorance every damn time.

                  I’ve had plenty of actual discourse. There are plenty of trolls I don’t bother with when they ignore the source material. For those that are genuinely inquisitive and interested in learn more, I have no issue going into more detail.

      Uh… What? 1.9 is 7 digits, of which there were conservatively estimated to be 6 digits of dead by mid-2024. By the most conservative estimate possible, more than 10% of Gazans were fucking dead by the time your dear Biden left office.

      Yeah Biden leaned on Egypt and Jordan to accept exactly the same thing also in mid-2024 and was told to go fuck himself. For now Israel is blocking out all aid, which is the exact same thing it did at the start of the war under Biden.

          40000 is the number of people directly killed (as in shot or or blown to bits) by the IDF who the Gaza Health Ministry physically counted. That’s not an estimate, that’s a number you then use to make an estimate, like this one. If you have a study counting indirect deaths and producing a number less than this, then let’s see it, because otherwise this is a full six digits.

                    You think more of the millions of former DNC voters would have showed up if we screamed “Biden is a baby murderer” and “Biden wants a new holocaust” from the rooftops? I get the feeling inaccurately labeling him as a genocider had some impact on the 2024 election.
