He was never smart.

He got a diploma in Economics. He tried going for one in Physics, but he was too dumb for that.

It was only 2 years after he left school, and after the school got a big donation, that he suddenly got that diploma. He did lie for 2 years that he got it though.

He bought it, just like he has done for all things in his life.
