On a recent trip, I filled my copious downtime by traipsing through The Artisan Era, and this was a real highlight of that for me.

Vocals are important to me, so I find it easy to overlook the excellent musicianship on display in instrumental projects. This week, I want to highlight that with instrumental metal I might usually pass over.
