Lately, a bird in my vicinity has been shooting laser beam at dawn. Each occurrence is preceded by a buildup and followed by a series of 3-4 laser beam shots, sounding like bwaaarhhh kwapzhew kwapzhew kwapzhew

Wonder what species it is; can’t find its whereabouts. It’s certainly not a lyre as those are exclusive to Australia. My rough guess is a special myna.
