Hey all,
Another victim of the 2022 energy bill crisis. I’ve read your posts, we know about the 300% increases. However, I can not make head or tail of the invoice my landlord sent me. Man was too lazy to notify us of the increase last year and now I have 2K+ to pay lump sum.
I might have gotten emotional and replied with ‘I don’t have money’. He replied by telling me I can pay in parts or get out and he’ll get it via tribunal. Lovely man, really.
Anyway, any idea who I can pay to make sense of this bill and if the charges are correct? Yes, I’m emailing the syndic today.
Allegedly, the landlords got a govr subsidy so I have so many questions.
Help me
EDIT UPDATE
Friends, it pays to be annoying. I told the landlord I wasn’t going to pay till I understood. He threatened to evict me. This morning I got the email that he made a mistake in the calculations and guess what, it’s a whole 1000€ less. New bill makes sense to me and he can very much eat dirt.
He ended the email with ‘don’t ask me anymore questions’. I won’t bud :)
