    I really like how the dark colors encercles what feels like the main character of a story. It instantly guides the vision towards the girl and yet it’s that magnificent black colors I feel attracted to and kept looking at.

      I hadn’t really picked up on who the main character was. Now I can see the model’s eyes are directed at her.

        It seems to me that the model is looking at us ( or more precisely, the painter of this piece ) the blond girl wearing a light blue robe is what I was referring to. Doesn’t the bright color around her contrast with the dark characters ? the painter is framing both the girl and the model using light, making them the most important part.
