What investigation? He beat a civilian nearly to death for absolutely no reason, on camera. Fire him then figure out what criminal charges to throw at him.

This because he was in a park after hours. And guess what? The victim was black!
Outside of traveling in a car, the police are the biggest lethal threat that the average American faces in day-to-day life.
And the police are still a problem when travelling by car, so I’d argue the police are an even bigger threat.
Seatbelts won’t shoot you for hurting their feelings.
