Right, “super fog” caused the accidents, not the idiots that keep driving through it with zero visibility LOL

Oh fog? I cant see anything? Let me keep driving at full speed. I mean the US driving tests aren’t exactly hard compared to others in the world, but you shouldn’t need to be told to drive slow in fog, it should be common sense.

Or drive faster than you can see.

I’ve avoided a few horrible accidents while driving in blizzards because I was doing 30mph while everyone else was trying to go 50 when they could barely e see the road or what’s in front of them

Unfortunately no matter how careful a driver someone is, they still have to share the road with others. You might leave a long gap to the car in front of you, but others will come into that space. You might slow down in fog, but the guy behind you might just plow into you at full speed.

That’s why the best strategy is to pull as far off the road as possible and turn your lights off.

Can confirm New Orleans drivers are literally the worst. However, this is still super fucked up. Even for them. “marsh fires” and fog?? wtf
