Have you heard about this nice app Stash, that lets you organize your porn all neatly and use a shared database of scenes to find out who those porn stars are in your favorite stuff? Think Plex for porn. It’s free and you run it on your own local computer so it’s fast and secure, or I suppose you could share with a few bate buddies.
It’s definitely built for hetero porn but they are supportive of other proclivities, and the more of us that use it, the better we can help make it!

I cannot for the life of me get it working on docker. I am a fairly experienced docker user with an existing portainer setup and I can’t get it to run.

I also added the chrome-browserless service for scraping:

This looks extremely promising I’m scanning my library now. Any tips specifically for gay content on stash? The discord and documentation make the app primarily focused on straight content so if there are any tweaks to make sure the metadata providers are prioritizing gay content in my library that would be helpful.

You can run it local in a docker image, same machine, and not be on the network at all
Also use username+password (Setting->Security->Credentials)

I’m not a very tech-savvy person. Could anyone explain very simply what this is and how it works? Does it download videos off the internet and plug them into a streaming service or am I misunderstanding this?
No, you need to get the videos and pictures yourself. You can then import them to stash and let stash Organise them. It will run against many different websites to get the correct title, mark all actors, studios,… you can then filter by actor or other things. It can do way more, but this is like the core functionality
