I checked on my own phone and in Firefox Mobile (Android) it does work.
Using Connect for Lemmy over Android, no moans :(
I think this is because Redgifs has audio on mute by default and embedded GIFs (or videos actually) do not always show Redgifs’s interface (especially in an app).
Probably but let’s see what happens…
