Other than FOSS games for android/ emulators, is there a way to get games that are privacy respecting and free. I’ve seen versions of games, including paod games on piracy sites and I wonder if they are infact better. My niblings love usimg my phone for games but havent liked anything yet, tolerate lato and towerjumper at most. Also towerjumper hasnt had an update since 2019, should I uninstall it?

Well, in first place being this a Piracy community, from my own experience I can tell you that most cracked games have trackers and that shit removed by the modder, so you can considered them “privacy respected” at some point, yep, even Minecraft.

And another option is using the IzzyOnDroid repo, it have alot of games that aren’t on F-Droid main repo.

Yes the tracker removal was what I was concerned about, is there a particular site thats good for cracked games or 1337x all the way

I have been using modded/unlocked apps for years from Mobilism and until this day I haven’t been infected with any virus as far as I know, just stick with trusted modders such as Derren or Balatan.

If you are interested, Mobilism is on the Megathread.

Mobilism is good for games/apps. Most of the apks have trackers removed and have access to paid content. If you’re particularly concerned you could block them with a firewall

You can use any open source firewall app available on F-Droid, such as Rethink DNS. The way that it works it’s as a VPN blocking outbout/inbout connections.

I personally use adguard to block connections whilst also doubling up as ad/tracker blocker. You can also route different apps through a proxy network such as tor if you want certain apps to be more private

Why spending time playing games if you can play the biggest game of life making money? It’s basically the same but you get real shit as exchange.

For give you an idea it’s like if life was a game and the main shit you have to do it’s make the most money, you have to find the ways to do it, at exchange you can spend the money in the shit you like, the more shit you have the more points you have. Basically as a video-game but in the real world
