I feel the same, it had the perfect mix of parts but just lacked something to bring it together and make it enjoyable. It might be the setting tricked me into thinking it could be like Fallout 3. That was on Xbox when I briefly had the game pass so I didn’t get that far into it, I might try it again on Steam Deck (looking for that kind of experience for handheld). Same goes for Avowed, if it works well on Deck.
