I haven’t been able to fix these sooner as I’ve been busy the last few days. I got it now.

The Voyager app (voyager.lemmynsfw.com) on the instance works as expected and updates automatically now.

Post listing settings (blur nsfw/auto expand images) are back again. I will not update Lemmy version before I patch new version so it will not be unpleasant as before.

Also we’re having trouble with the donation platforms. We may be making a change soon. Friends who have donated from sites such as Github Sponsors and Patreon before, what do you think about making donations from sites such as fanbox.cc or subscribestar.adult?

In terms of donation platform why not start a OnlyFans? People would trust an OnlyFans link way more than the other sites you mentioned. I know I would at least.

It would also be kinda funny.

First, thanks for the fixes. As far as the donations, I’m currently donating through github. I’ve never used the ones you mentioned. In theory, I wouldn’t have a problem with it, but I’m not familiar with them.

I’d like to know they are safe. Both from the perspective of keeping my data secure, and knowing that they’re not going to blast me with sketchy ads or malware when I visit them to set things up.

You are right. I’m not familiar with these sites too and discussing with other admins. For example @[email protected] has experience in this area, hes helping a lot. We’ll find a trustable platform hopefully. Onlyfans, Fansly are known, trusted platforms but they mostly focused on “fan” stuff so I’m not sure.

I dont know if there are any adult content restrictions on these, but bountysource, opencollective, and issuehunt may be good options.

BountySource, for example, can do bounties and salts. Salts are recurring donations, and a bounty would be for a specific feature (new server, custom patches, patches to upstream, etc).

Might be a viable option so thought I’d mention.

We tried Open Collective Europe but got rejected. I would really like to use Open Collective because of its transparency.

The others are off topic so I don’t really think they would accept.

I too am currently donating through GitHub. Let me know if that needs to change.

Yes. As expected, Github closed the page and refunded the donations 😐 I’m paying out of pocket for now. When I find a solution, I will open the donation page again.
