City officials conducted on the spot inspections of several gay bars in downtown Seattle and posted ‘Lewd Conduct’ violations to three bar owners. Two for jock straps and one for a bartender’s exposed nipple. There were no alcohol or other violations found.

This has created an uproar in the city, and nationally in the LGBTQ+ covering press. City officials say, it’s the law, they must enforce it. Patrons and LGBTQ+ community members say it feels like selective targeting of their community for absurd reasons.

I’m from Seattle! People are talking about this everywhere. Completely ridiculous and an utter waste of tax money.

But you may get viciously attacked. By loose unrestrained bar tenders nipples.

Have to protect the citizens from dangerous influences.

I’ve been at straight beach bars full of boomers with way more nudity than that.

Hell, in Europe nude beaches are common and nobody gives a shit. But the idea that an exposed male nipple in a gay bar is a lewd act is the kind of thinking that, if an exposed female nipple is lewd for heterosexuals, then an exposed male nipple must be lewd for gays. Therefore… batshit crazy.
