Should we believe people just because they claim so? Anyone who makes a claim that something happened to them or someone did X needs to provide evidence. Otherwise anyone can just say anything about anyone.
What evidence would you need to believe her? At least one other former staff member (Colin) said
Other former LMG employees like Maxine at the very least liked the tweets where she claimed these things.
Linus held a staff meeting about how to handle HR related issues right after Madison quit. Even though he responded to her accusations by saying her had no idea this was going on.
And if that’s not good enough for you, again what evidence do you need to believe her?
Colin’s statements should be taken into consideration. Maxine liking a tweet isn’t evidence. We need a investigation that takes context into account and not just one person’s claims. I’m not saying she’s lying or she’s truthful. but rather saying that the proper procedure should be taken. And if involved parties are found to have done what she claims then action should be taken against them
An investigation by who?
What evidence do you need?
The one that make taking action against them possible. Liking a tweet and one reply by an employee of a 100 employee company is not it.
I refuse to “cancel” people because of he said she said.
What evidence would you need?
Imo, this kind of situation should be resolved irl, not on Twitter. So yeah, I will wait for the results of the investigation. We’ll see what happens when they publish them. I can’t tell you what evidence I need, cos I don’t know. But I know twitter posts aren’t it.
You’re waiting for an investigation that the accused party paid for?
You really think Linus would admit to doing this if the investigation he paid for and controls said he did do it? That sounds incredibly naive to me.
