Hi all,

I see Lemmy is becoming an OF honeypot. For me, it’s mostly fake and non focused.

I despise the click bait titles and exaggerated poses, attire, etc.

Are there any communities yet that don’t allow OF so that true fetishists can contribute without the constant commercials?

Lemmy is indeed becoming an OF honeypot. I’ve been fairly vocal about this myself.

I think it should be a general community rule to not allow posts containing OF spam. If some perv on here is thirsty enough they’ll stalk the posters page and see the links on there, no need to include it in the posts.

I just downvote those. Hopefully enough folks agree and do the same. Eventually content creators that do that will realize they’re getting more downvotes than upvotes and stop on their own.

This isn’t what they said at all, though what they did say, they phrased poorly. They’re looking for hobbiest kink communities for people practicing kink rather than people trying to sell porn. In other places that don’t ban OF advertisements, people trying to participate for the enjoyment of the kink tend to get drowned out by the people trying make a living out of it.

They came off as gatekeepy, but it’s pretty obvious that they’re not asking for free porn to me anyway. Imagine thinking free porn is hard to find if that was what they were asking for.

Yeah Reddit had r/nofans. Totally think that should be a community. For some, posting nudes and interacting with the community is a kink in and of itself without promoting their onlyfans, there no reason something like that can’t exist on Lemmy

          Wasn’t very active though.

Don’t know if this would make the experience better for everyone, but one could imagine OF workers having a tag on their profile and this being a global filter for the entire lemmy-instance, but with possibility to set overrides for subreddits - both on a subreddit level (mods), and a user subscribed to a subreddit level (user).

This should ideally be implemented so that it’s a generic part of lemmy everywhere, as it would likely be useful for other instances too.

Then the instance admins could define the allowed tags and filters.
