Democracy is only necessary if the government were to do something terrible. Like: Nationalize the oil wells, or refuse to sell to American companies, or God forbid, demand a fair price for their oil.

1·2 years agoNTA. It’s an honest mistake. An honest mistake which is the result of inherent sexism in our society, but still an honest mistake.
She didn’t introduce herself. After you made the mistake, she didn’t give you the chance to apologize. You didn’t say that you think less of her because she’s a woman. ITT, you explained why you made the mistake, showed remorse, and clearly stated that her gender is a non-issue to you. Not asshole behavior.
Fyi, I don’t consider her behavior to be asshole like either. Perhaps a bit of an overreaction, but hey, I assume she’s met a lot of sexist dudes. She might be a little jumpy.
