undefined> One of things I like about Lemmy is that you can create a link post and still include text and subsequent links.
yeah that I really like as well. I can like an image that provides content to the community, but also still talk in the op rather than having to say “more info in comments” or something stupid like that.
Not a huge fan, but I understand the thinking.
My issue with it, is let’s say there’s a self post and I respond to it. Knowing it’s a bot post, I still want to contribute to the community, but I know I’m unlikely to get a response. It’s possible it could start a conversation here though.
I get its a way to fill the communities with content, but it feels like a half baked attempt. Or an inflation of interactions.
Not sure the right route in these early days though.
yep!
I used to run an old Dell R610. Used a decent amount of power.
Switched to an old 4th gen quadcore i7 laptop.
Been running great, uses less power, has a built in display and keyboard.
Linux base, Docker Env for most everything else.
Holy shit that’s sleek. Gonna give that a go for a while.
Cthulhu, the cosmic horror, received an unexpected gift from his grandmother, Shub’Niggurath—an ugly sweater.
Despite its clash with his terrifying image, Cthulhu embraced the garment, finding it a symbol of familial love.
As he wore the sweater, whispers spread, making him an enigmatic figure. The paradox intrigued cosmic beings, and Cthulhu’s presence became associated with both terror and the power of love.
oh nice, I was unaware of pixelfed. Ill have to check this out. cheers!
Ive been using Revanimated v122
seems to work really well.
yeah thats fair enough on the wordage.
Im rocking a 3070 and 11th gen i7, but only 16gb of ram.

edit: its because of size…
“Inpainting” means asking the AI to refine part of an image while leaving the rest alone. For example, updating a portrait of your grandmother to have her wear a biker’s jacket.
“Outpainting” means asking the AI to expand the original image beyond its original borders, making a bigger image that’s still based on the original. For example, extending the above image of your Grandmother in a biker’s jacket to include her wearing jeans (and while we’re at it, a motorcycle!)
almost like painting with ai
looks good, been using jerboa for the past week. will check this one out too. cheers!
Oh interesting, I’m curious on the answer to this as well.
Please will any have hide post on scroll past? Most needed feature on my end.
If they have issues with your hobbies they’re not worth it. Who cares what you’re into, if it doesn’t negatively affect things, who the hell cares. My wife and I regularly game right next to each other and we’re well past the “normal” age for gamers.
I don’t drink or have much experience on this subject but I just wanted to say hell yeah and awesome job. If that’s the route you want to go, be proud of taking that first step. Hopefully you find a new community outside of reddit that offers similar resources. Cheers!
that looks neat, but I would prefer a docker container setup rather than that setup. I get its geared more towards non-technical so thats neat
That’s absolutely fantastic lmao
It takes two is probably one of the best split screen local co-op imo.
Yuppp nearly perfect
