01·2 years agoRemember lemmy.world is a huge instance with a influx of new users so you will get errors. Best to join a smaller instance so you have less issues
And when one of the tries to murder you don’t come crying to us. Violence is not the answer!
Kbin is the step-child, i’m assuming all the devs are seeing the growth in lemmy and haven’t really noticed kbin!
1·2 years agoLiftoff, Connect, Thunder and wefwef , I think wefwef is having issues right now. still alpha but its really nice. i think devs are trying to stop hitting the api rate limit or something. wefwef is just like apollo but for android and ios

Nope, it’s fine the way it is right now. if its on the front page good. if not people gotta earn there upvotes. Karma whoreing makes it a competion for everyone. Everyone will be out for themselves and it will turn into reddit.
2·2 years agoKbin is everything wrapped into one. Threads = Post like Reddit, Microblogging = Like Twitter/Mastodon Magazines = Subreddits. Everything is perfect!

4·2 years agoI was the founder of a 73k sub API the API rules changed I used Apollo and rif the AMA came decided to protest from the 12th to the 14th came back after the day of the 14th my subscribers said shut it down. I shut it down then u/spez did that leaked memo then I decided to delete my 350k 6 years front page 5x account. It was tuff but I got kbin, Lemmy and Mastodon to help me fill the void. Yes I know I only need one account but it’s a personal preference l!
u/spez and Musk are cut from the same cloth. Greedy and entitled. Twitter and Reddit are gonna burn so hard and i’m here for all of this! :P
1·2 years ago@eob since mastodon is a microblogging site like twitter. All you post etc… will be in the microblogging section of Kbin. Everyone can see it. Threads and magazines ok Kbin are more Reddit like. Most of us using Kbin or lemmy came from Reddit.We are used to this. Just got to get adjusted to the new look

Basically you can create an account anywhere and technically you can comment on anyone’s post through the fediverse but for lemmyy you need either the website or the app and you can go from there
How are you making post? I tried to make two post but they look like comments?
