Voice lines of Gwen Stacy searching for Miles in a pile of rubble have been removed in some versions of the film.

I’m curious why this particular change was made. Most of the examples I’ve seen are just “slightly different quip”, but that one I do think actually hurts the scene a little (not immediately, but in light of later things it’s somewhat meaningful).

Speaking only for myself (another US citizen), I didn’t know treaties could cover things like that so I found it valuable.

There’s a difference between “there’s no way to guarantee total privacy” and “the system is designed to guarantee no privacy”, though. Even the best of us fuck up and say something they shouldn’t on occasion, and plenty of people online were never given proper lessons or are too young to understand how serious revealing information is.
