Rimworld has a pretty interesting modding scene.

I know Skyrim has an extensive lewd modding scene as well, but I haven’t really messed with it

Weirdly, I really like mods in already NSFW games:

• Strive4Power and it’s sequel/remake, Strive Conquest have mods that experiment with the gameplay quite a bit.
• I played around with writing mods for Portals of Phereon for a bit to try out some changes to the game to better fit my interests.

I get the concern with mods being complicated to install, depending on the game & it’s engine, it can be difficult to keep compatibility with either new versions if the game, or with other mods.

One of the problems is that the places that really make an attempt to catalog these games also tend to offer pirated copies of the games.

It’s wonky though, they have to first post it comment in your community, then you can add them there. In the web ui it shows up after clicking the 3 dots on the comment/post

It’s not just you. I’ve had better luck entering the full url manually ( http://lemmynsfw.com/c/[email protected] ) than trying to search. Still sometimes fails though.

There’s also a risk that being too loose with any questionably legal content could lead to blocking or defederation of this community/server, both of which I’d like to avoid

Yeah, boejakka and others from the reddit lewdgames community have done great work cataloging these.
