If you are looking at it that way, you should not buy any game with an online component. Every single one of those will be gone at some point.
I know you are asking the “when” but that can be difficult to assess for a company that is built on pure profit.
Which is why the initiative is more about being able to make your own servers for these games, not about forcing companies to keep their servers alive indefinitely.

I am making new accounts every half year or so on different servers and migrate my data each time. It is the upside of federation.

no VPN. I have been using other sites for downloading… things, that trigger these often too. they also got more difficult to approve solutions.
now I am not even in my own country and it is the same.
not sure I misunderstand but it is not I cannot solve them, they don’t let me solve them. e.g. I select everything correct and it still doesn’t confirm the solution.
