We all are familiar with sexual assault. It happens most often in situations where the criminals know the victim. Not randomly every time you talk to a man outside your house. Frankly, sexual assault has nothing to do with attraction. You can be afraid of whatever you want to make yourself feel more in control of how terrible our society is. Nothing is predictable when you are assuming the worst case for everything. I don’t think you could reason with cocaine bear. Men can be terrible but it’s not that likely to encounter rapists and killers. It’s easy to cherrypick scary murder stories to be afraid of. Most of the time a lost women has been found and saved in the woods it was by the predominantly male search and rescue. Also why should I leave my kids at a women day care with how often they drown them. Probably be safer leaving my kids with sharks
People need to vent. No one is looking to share positivity. If you are positive you don’t need to look online for assurance.

What you are feeling is similar to how I used to feel. What changed was my understanding of children. A child behaves the way it does because it is literally experiencing things for the first time. That’s why they over react. They aren’t bad all the time. They can be more fun to be around then adults. They don’t care what you look like. They’re easy to impress and pal around with. And when they do act out it’s not nearly as serious as adults.

All I mean is that statistic is not relevant here. One in three men commit sexual assault over the course of their lives.
