You have to start small, if you immediately try to go to something penis sized it’s going to hurt, anal takes prep.

    • Start prep a few hours before, try using your pinkie at first and then work in more fingers slowly and see how it feels.
      • Once you’re comfortable with your fingers, maybe get a small trainer butt plug and keep it in for 30 minutes to an hour before actual anal sex. Most “trainer” kits come with 3 or 4 sizes of plugs so you could even take time to work your way up to larger sizes to get closer to the size of your bf’s penis.
    • Arousal matters, there are two muscles to the anus, one voluntary, one involuntary. If you’re nervous you’re going to be tighter, so try to get excited and in the mood, which is why prep/foreplay also matters so that you feel ready and willing. Also, when we’re aroused our pain tolerance is higher, meaning even if it does hurt a little, it will hurt a lot less when you’re turned on
    • Use the right type of lube, the inside of your anus has a different ph level than your vagina, so it needs different lube. I really like virgin, unrefined coconut oil. It’s relatively cheap, easy to find, and the right ph for your anus. It also tastes good if you’re into analingus.
    • Try not to eat anything for 3 or 4 hours before anal, and eat fiber the day of and/or day before your do anal. Being “cleared out” will make things less uncomfortable.

Once you do this enough times prep will become a lot easier. Dildos take a lot less prep for me now, like almost none lol. But for the average person once you’ve done prep a few times you should find that it takes less time to relax your backdoor. I hope this helps!
