Banning all cars from roads is also very effective in preventing automobile accidents, but we’re not dumb, are we?

The Alters used AI to generate placeholders IN DEVELOPMENT. They then replaced them when a couple slipped through. It shipped with one line of AI generated translation that was left in by accident. Fucking Internet rumours… SMH.

My problem with these modern action movies is that the heroes are always trying to look so cool. Their presence on the screen feels shallow, like looking at their Instagram clips.
Give me the cool heroes of the 80s and 90s that acted like they were in the scene and not on a runway or in front of a cell phone streaming for their fans. This trailer is a big meh from me, but we’ll see how the film pans out.
People make shit up too because they’re lazy, ignorant, stupid, malicious, or misinformed. At least with AI you can tell it to cite its sources and it’ll have them. If you hate AI because it hallucinates, one can easily extend this reasoning to suggest you hate people too.
You ever try to figure out which Pokemon was the first ever designed or which was the first ever in lore?
You can get a complete answer to this with a simple question from AI services. Otherwise you’re the one wading through esoteric nerd posts and ads on five different forums for probably about 5-10 minutes. Most of them now list references along with their answers and if they didn’t, you can request them to check the answers. You can then have a followup question, like who designed the first Pokemon or whether the game objectives ever changed from the original concept.
AI services can easily summarize and synthesize this information for you. The issue is that people abuse this to plagiarize and not use their own brains to review and verify any of this information.
As for genAI, it also has its legitimate uses for generating placeholders, templates, and the scaffolding for your or others’ art. The tools are great ways for people to get started on their creative journeys, but most people just think it’s for generating the finished product, which is not.
You dodn’t hate AI. You hate people abusing technology.
This movie was not great. It wanted to tell a good story, though.

Ozempic is part of this regimen and it’s tied to these pancreatitis cases. I think there’s a lot of rose coloured glasses right now. We have to see the results of more side effect studies.

As with financial innovations always in search of new ways to fleece their customers, the executive innovation corps will spearhead new ways of screwing over veterans, enlisted, and the people of the USA.
