I know it’s fashionable to hate on Apple (justified or not), but Apple Music is very good. As a bonus, you can bundle it with Apple TV+, which have so many extremely good shows and movies.
I’m quite happy with Tidal. Been using it for 6-7 months now.
I’ve tried a few of them, all with family plans:
Amazon Music: good track selection, awful apps. Horrid integration with Sonos.
YouTube Music: I was using this for quite a while, my kids hated it because of the way the miniplayer worked. I found it frustrating because it would often play a YouTube rip of a song instead of the album track.
Tidal: great choice, but I couldn’t get it to use gapless playback when casting to my receiver.
Apple Music: we’re currently all using this one. Everyone is happy (Android, Chromecast, Sonos, iPhones, iPads, Car Play, and Android Auto). Finally.
Have you tried Napster? That’s not a joke in case you thought it might be
I use Tidal but their servers kind of suck sometimes.
YouTube premium has YouTube music, and it works well enough for me and my extended family

No, but they’re donating money to the inauguration and hosting Rogan, Shapiro, and others podcasters to, by Spotify’s own word, “tout the power of podcasts in the election”. It seems awfully cozy behavior.
