It really is always something we’re thinking about. Once when I was really young and naive, I was dumb enough to let a date drive me home. He went past the turn off for my house and didn’t say anything. I absolutely freaked out inside, convinced I was going to have something terrible happen to me. Yeah that’s terrifying. If I were ever to go with anyone on a date by car, even as a guy, I wouldn’t get in their car, either!
